Spent some time in Montreal this summer, it was half pleasure and half work.
Got to enjoy many of the sites as well as the International Jazz Festival.
Then my workmates showed up and we worked as a team doing home renovations for the L'Arche Society.
All in all it was a great trip!!

My good friend Chantal and I just spent a week in the Riviera Maya on a little spring vacation.
It was an awesome time, met people from all over the world, enjoyed numerous beverages on a white
sandy beach next to the green/blue Caribbean sea, participated in many of the resort events such as
kayak competitions, water polo, ocean aerobics, shows and dancing.

Also got a couple of excursions, one to Xel-ha for snorkeling and then to Tulum as well as a night of
sight seeing followed by a dinner in Playa de Carmen.

The food was actually quite good considering it was a buffet and the sea food dinners in the Ala-Carte
restaurants were very good.

The fact that we missed the big spring snow storm in Calgary didn't hurt things either.

The Parkdale Community Centre is located at 3512 - 5 Avenue SW, the band hits the stage at 9:30ish PM.
Tickets are $25 for one or $40 for two and include champange, party favours and late night snack.

The Westcreek Pub is on the west side of Chestermere and is only a 5 to 10 minute drive on 17th Avenue

After such fun last time when we were at the Distillery Public House we have booked another gig.
Cornerstone will be performing at The Distillery Public House on Friday, October 1, 2004.
The Distillery is located downtown on the corner of 8th Street and 5th Avenue with parking close by.

3 Days of eating, drinking and being merry, what more can I say.
Cornerstone attended Zaabfest, 2004 for a full weekend of jamming and partying.
The BBQ's were going all weekend long and the food was awesome.
The band played the Saturday during a relatively calm but chilly night
The power went out for bit but an acoustic session filled in Nicely!.
Sunday the big beef roast was on! The band played that afternoon before the big feast,
stopped for dinner and then continued on through the night with some special guests.

Moustache Rock is a great night of classic 70's rock tunes, bad clothes and cheezy moustaches.
This year proceeds went to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

Hope everyone had a safe, happy holiday season and a good new year's eve.
The last year has been a tough one with all of the turmoil's around the world but I am optimistic
that this one will be better and that we'll all enjoy happier times.
I am not one for resolutions but I recently purchased a KODAK DX3600 digital camera and I am going
to try and get more pictures of adventures that I take in my little part of the world.

Mountain bike season has offically ended for me and the bike is now in the trainer for the winter.

On Friday, May 25/2001, Diamond Jim and several of his co workers will be shaving their
heads to help raise funds for the Tom Baker Cancer Centre.

The head shaving will begin at 7:00 PM and everyone is welcome to come on down and
join in the festivities.

Cornerstone will be part of the Moustache Rock 5 Festival at the Night Gallery on Saturday,
May 19/2001.

The Moustache Rock Festival will include several local Calgary Bands and is based on 70's
tunes.

The Big Rock Brewery presents the 8th Anual Eddies at the Jubilee Auditorium.

The EDDIES is a contest where local film makers create commercials for Big Rock Products.
The top 24 of these entries are shown during a big party at the Jubilee Auditorium.
